[Wedding] Pretty in Pink, Leanne & Craig at Rutland Hotel, Sheffield.

The second Wedding of the Bank Holiday Weekend was the Wedding of Leanne & Craig. I first met Leanne and Craig over 2 years ago when they first booked Blue Lights Photography - and I think I have felt the excitement as the Wedding has come closer, as it seems so long since they booked me.

I started with Bridal Preps with Leanne, her mum and bridesmaids for hair and make-up. Leanne had stayed at home the night before the Wedding and then headed to The Rutland Sheffield in the morning (after a McDonald's breakfast I am told!)

Leanne was put into her dress by her Mum and Bridesmaids before her Dad arrived into the room (and cried) which set almost everyone off!

The Ceremony Room at The Rutland was set out beautifully, with pink bows on the chair covers, and aisle runner, petals, twinkle backdrop! Just beautiful!

The new Mr and Mrs walked out to "We Go Together" which was fabulous!

After the drinks we headed outside for some group photographs and after a few unfortunately the rain started, but that didn't stop the photographs going ahead. Luckily at The Rutland the Conservatory looks out onto the Garden and so we were able to do little group shots whilst the rain showers came down.

Due to the rain, we were able to move Dinner a little earlier in the hope that the rain had stopped by the time dinner was over.
(And it worked - for a bit at least)

We headed out to do the much needed photographs of Craig and Leanne together, celebrating being Mr and Mrs - and so in love!

And then inside the party got started with the first dance, a father daughter dance and cutting of the cake, then everyone was up dancing and partying the night away!

And in the words of John Legend - I think the first dance couldn't have summed up this couple any better.

"Cause all of me
Loves all of you
Love your curves and all your edges
All your perfect imperfections
Give your all to me
I'll give my all to you
You're my end and my beginning
Even when I lose I'm winning
'Cause I give you all of me
And you give me all of you"

Thank you Leanne & Craig for sharing your special day with me.

[Wedding] A Family Affair at Northorpe Hall, Helen & James

Friday saw the Wedding of James & Helen. I first met James and Helen at Laura & Graham's Wedding last year, and this was now the 3rd Wedding that Graham at been at - including Lois and Matt's - it was lovely to continue seeing people from weddings previously.

As everything was happening quite local to each other, it meant I could do 1 Hour with Helen & the girls, then 1 Hour with James and the boys - and then go back to Helen & the girls for the final preperations.

James & Helen's son, Issac who is 5, was the Best Man, and he had the job of making sure all the boys were well behaved. And he did a fabulous job!

When I got back to the girls, after making sure all the boys were dressed properly with handkerchiefs and flowers, then the last preperations were taking place. But it was still all very calm, until the last 5-10 minutes as normal!

Helen & James were married at St Paul's in Birkenshaw which is a beautiful church!

The new Mr & Mrs had bubbles and confetti!

After the ceremony, we all headed to Northorpe Hall in Mirfield, for the reception, meal and photographs - absolutely beautiful location.

The Wedding Car was a beautiful VW Camper, called Dylan!

Just look how in love Helen & James are - beautiful!

Thank you Helen, James & the boys, for allowing me to share their special day.

[Wedding] After the Rain - it was a beautiful day...Matt and Lisa's Ringwood Hall Wedding

I first met Matt & Lisa at the I Do Wedding Exhibition at Ice Sheffield - where they booked me, and instantly became one of my fabulous couples!

They were married the day after my Grandad's house got flooded due to all the rain we had - yet at Ringwood hall for their Wedding the Sun shone as much as it could for them.

I started with Lisa & her bridesmaids with hair and make up prep - before Lisa's mum joined us to finish getting ready - and get Lisa into her dress.

Lisa's beautiful lace dress had a taupe sash, which tied at the back, and perfectly matched the entire theme for the Wedding. The dress looked beautiful, and in Lisa's own words, gave her boobs! ha!

The reception room was decorated with lace and brown that went perfectly with everything else - and the tables were named after Muscials!

Matt and Lisa's ceremony was held inside - and it was quite a warm day but it couldn't stop the two of these celebrating their marriage.

We headed down into the Rose Garden after the ceremony for a drinks reception and family group photographs. Matt and Lisa had approximately 50 guests to their Wedding which is a lovely number - but as always - people still kept wondering off haha!

Photographs of the new Mr and Mrs Bailey were taken before they went in for Dinner & Speeches

After Dinner and the Slideshow was set up - there were a few more pictures of the new Mr and Mrs, when the weather had cooled down ever so slightly, before everyone partied away into the evening.

Thank you Matt & Lisa for allowing me to share your special day with you X

[Wedding] A Sunday Church Wedding with so much love, at Wentbridge House Hotel.

On a cooler Sunday Morning, and one of my first Sunday Weddings of 2014, I arrived at Wentbridge House Hotel to photograph the Wedding of Chloe & Mark.

I started with Chloe and her Bridesmaids having their hair and make up done in one of the suites. The big bay window is beautiful and definately great light for the make up artist to work her (not really needed) magic.

Later we were joined by Chloe & Mark's daughter Lily, whilst Chloe opened her Wedding gifts from Mark and Lily entertained everyone with her Peppa pig tea set.

Don't Lily & Mummy just look BEAUTIFUL.

Chloe's beautiful dress was simple and figure hugging, and she wore her hair down, and understated, exactly what she wanted - and she looked absolutely beautiful.

The Ceremony was held at St John's Church just up the "dirt track" at the side of Wentbridge House Hotel. I remember when Chloe & Mark came to see me to discuss their Wedding I knew exactly where it was as a friend of mine used to go climbing just further up from the church - but I digress.

The Church is a small beautiful church, and the Vicar asked that I only take photographs from the back which I am always happy to listen to what they ask - but it worked so well in the church which didn't have a long aisle.

Outside the church we photographed a few formal group photographs, before we photographed some  Bride & Groom photographs before heading to Wentbridge House for the reception.

The above photograph is Mark & Chloe with Lily, and their Niece & Nephew - how cute!

Some more group shots were taken before we had a little time with Mark & Chloe before dinner, and then of course some with Lily too.

After these images were taking, everyone headed inside for the Wedding Breakfast, and speeches. And we captured some more bride & groom portraits after dinner - and then through on to the evening.

Thank you Chloe & Mark for sharing your special day with me.
