[Studio] Cutie Olivia, Children Photographer Barnsley

Gorgeous little Olivia was 19 weeks old when she came in for her photo session. The perfect toe-grabbing age along with cutie smiles!

One of the great things of this age, is that they are still "baby" at this age, even though they are tiny-tiny. And look super cute for nakey shoots - even though I make sure you cannot see anything!

After we got out "fake bed" out for some photographs - as lovely Olivia wasnt happy on her tummy - but mummy & daddy told me that she loved it on bed-time!

And lets not forget, if your little one has a favourite toy - we can get this on shots too!

[Wedding] A Church and a Mori Lee Dress: Jen & Karl at Burntwood Court Barnsley

On Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing Jen & Karl's Wedding which was my 120th Wedding. I started off the day at Jen's mums house where make up was well under way after they had been to the hairdressers.

The house was awash with bridesmaids as well as mum, step-dad and brother, Callum. I always look to try and find ways to photograph the jewellery the bride is wearing on the day, and found mum's fab crystal candelabra! And of course Jen's beautiful flowers!

Jen's dress was a beautiful sweetheart neck ruched dress by Mori Lee - simple and very elegant!

I headed to Brampton Christ Church where Karl, and his best man Billy were waiting for the bridal party to arrive. Karl didn't seem half as nervous as he did at the Wedding Rehersal!

Jen and her brother Callum arrived in the bridal car - whilst the bridesmaids were in their own car - and met the flower girls at the church before getting ready to walk down the aisle.

Jen was walked down the aisle and given away by her brother, a lot of emotions were running high as there were tears down the aisle, and from many of the congregation.

The Church is beautiful - and provided many opportunities for photographs - whilst following the wishes of the Church Warden. No Flash Photography, moving quietly, but no photographs behind the Vicar.

After the Ceremony and Signing of the register, Jen and Karl made their way down the aisle as the new Mr & Mrs Oxley!

The main worry that Jen had was that it would rain on the day. It was forecast to rain all day at the beginning of the week - however after a shower in the morning - when we came out of the church we had beautiful sunshine!

The Bridesmaids looked beautiful in pink with the flower girls wearing white.

The beauty in it not raining meant that we were able to take advantage of the beautiful Willow tree which sits behind the church. Before moving to the front of the church to make more bridal portraits before setting off on the way to Burntwood Court Hotel for the Reception.

Once at Burntwood, we took a few more bridal portraits in the 10 minutes we had before Jen & Karl were due to sit down for their meal.

The Speeches were delivered after the meal where they began with Callum, then Jen's Dad, before Karl and then Billy delivered their speeches! Laughs, claps and a few tears were definately shed!

After the speeches we headed outside, for group shots - and confetti - there was a quick 2 minute rain shower before we headed back outside again.

Three Siblings together!

The light was beautiful - so we made sure we used this opportunity heading into the grass with a beautiful blue sky! Beautiful!

We then headed inside before the party started, their first dance to Unbreakable - and then a bouquet throwing! It was such a lovely day! Thank you for choosing Blue Lights Photography to capture your Wedding Day.

These images were the images shown on the slideshow at the evening reception.

[Newborn] Handsome little Noah, Newborn Photographer Barnsley

I am sorry if your heart melts in aww's and your ovaries burst, but just look at that gorgeous little smiley face!

Noah, was an absolute DREAM! Just look at that gorgeous little sleepy face!

Daddy brought along a Rugby ball for us to create these images (and of course Daddy's Favourite images from the shoot!) Daddy was close by for these photographs to make sure Noah was safe at all times.

I love tiny little detail images. Showing tiny little features of your little one as they grow!

Remember newborn photographs are best taken within the first 2 weeks of your baby being born - so please remember you can book in before baby arrives!

[Studio] 3 Little Monkeys, Gerry, Rose and Graihagh, Child Photographer Barnsley.

I had the pleasure of photography Gerry, Rose and Graihagh when little Graihagh was up visiting from London. 3 Little cousins, 3 Grandchildren and 3 Little Monkeys!

I first met these 3 cutie-pies at Michelle & Paul's Wedding in August 2013, so its always nice to see how much they have grown - and in an entirely different setting.

It was nice to be able to get some photographs of all 3 of the Children for Grandma, as well as some photographs of Graihagh on her own for mummy, and Gerry & Rose for their mummy too!

The kiddies absolutely LOVED our little sofa in the studio!

[Wedding] A Beautiful Easter Wedding at Ringwood Hall

Whilst everyone was tucking into chocolate for breakfast on Easter Sunday, I however was on my way to Doncaster to start photographing the bridal preperations for Jade & Louis' Wedding day.

The preperations took place at Louis mum's house, whilst Louis and the groomsmen were getting ready at Ringwood Hall. With hair and make up underway when I arrived, it was a normal state of affairs like any kind of Wedding morning - however, everything was running smoothly, and on time (until the last hour)

Jamie & Leyton - the bride and groom's two boys, were absolutely as good as gold on the Wedding morning, in fact the entire day - so well behaved, and hardly heard a peep out of them on the morning.

Jade wore this beautiful strapped dress with a scoop neckline and lower zip and button back - and teamed with a crystal dotted cathedral length veil and side headband.

We all set off on the 40 minute drive to Ringwood Hall, where Jade was helped out of the car by her brother, who was also giving her away.

I arrived at the Ceremony Room to find a nervous looking Louis, sat with his Best Man, Dad and Brother. Before the page boys carrying the rings, walked down the aisle, followed by the bridesmaids and then Jade with her brother. The ceremony was due to be held outside, but due to a sprinkling of rain, it was decided it was best to hold it inside instead.

The ceremony was a lovely civil ceremony, including a reading by the Groom's brother.

After the ceremony, we headed to the Rose Gardens for mingling and drinks as well as Group Photographs before we started on Bride and Groom Portraits.

You have to admit that Jade & Louis look absolutely in love and besotted with each other - I guess thats what 10 years and 2 boys do to you!

The wind and light just worked absolutely perfectly for myself and the cinematographer also covering their day.

Everyone made their way inside for the Wedding Breakfast, which consisted of both a Ladies & Gents seperate Menu, I was very excited, as this is the first time that I have ever experienced this at a wedding, and this was Wedding 119 that I've photographed!

Then came the speeches! Speeches were given by Ben, the Brides Brother - Louis, and then the Best Man. And after we thought the speeches were finished both Jamie & Leyton stood up to say a few words, which was just so cute!

After Dinner we headed back outside to do some more Bride and Groom Portraits in the evening light. As they couldn't get married outside, we decided to use the pavillion where they should have got married - for some extra photographs too - the sunlight was just beautiful by this time.

Congratulations Mr and Mrs Brown - and Thank You for allowing Blue Lights Photography to share your special day! x
