[Wedding] And the Bride wore Jimmy Choo's, Steph & Mark, Waterton Park Hotel

On Saturday 2nd May 2015, I had the wonderful Job of photographing Stephanie & Mark's Wedding at Waterton Park Hotel, Wakefield. I love photographing Weddings here, as the surroundings are just so beautiful and definitely make for some lovely photographs.

I started with Steph and her bridesmaids getting ready after they had stayed over the night before.

The morning was quite chilled out, the ceremony was at 12-Noon and hair and make-up started early, which meant that the bride and bridesmaids were done in plenty of time - and all they needed to do was get dressed.

Steph wore a gorgeous lace sweetheart neckline dress, with a lace bolero over the top finished with a crystal embellished belt which looked absolutely beautiful and finished the look off entirely.

I headed downstairs to the Ceremony room, with the aisle filled with rose petals, and Mark nervously awaiting the arrival of Steph. Steph was walked down the aisle by her Dad.

The ceremony was beautiful, with three different readings by friends and family, which made it all that much more special and personal for them both. Civil Ceremonies can be over so-so quick, so this made a nice change.

Being May Bank Holiday Weekend, you can never guarantee the weather, and this day was no exception. With rain hitting on and off - we managed to jump outside for all the photographs which made it a lot better. The guests were super quick at doing what was asked as they all wanted to get back inside to the warmth and away from the hit and miss drizzle. A* to the guests!

With time to spare and the weather bating just a tad, we were able to stay outside for the couple portraits - even when it started drizzling a bit heavier Steph was game for getting the pictures done!

We headed around the back of the Venue and onto the decking, but not before almost being attacked by Geese! Which wasn't as funny as it sounds, but it was just protecting the nest we were stood near!

The new Mr & Mrs then headed upstairs to the beautifully set out room. Pinks and lace and flowers adorned the tables, with a beautiful cake to top it all off!

Laughs, and tears were had during speeches, and dancing and laughter continued throughout the evening reception too.

Thank you to Mr & Mrs Jackson for choosing me to share your special day with you.
