[Wedding] Rebecca & Matt, a beautiful autumnal Wedding at Whitley Hall Hotel, Sheffield

On Sunday I had the pleasure of photographing Matt  & Rebecca's Wedding at Whitley Hall hotel. I've known Rebecca for around 17 years, so being able to share her special day was amazing.

I started with Rebecca just a little while before her ceremony, to get the detail and final preperation photographs.

Her little boy seeing her for the first time was just super cute!

Final preperations were underway, with the bridesmaids and Main Man of Honour before Rebecca's dad entered into the room to see his little girl for the first time.

The bridesmaids headed down the aisle as a nervous Matt waited for Rebecca and her Dad to walk down the aisle. Matt was so nervous and he just couldn't turn around to watch her walk down the aisle.

Two readings were done by Jess and Karl whilst Best Woman Kate kept safe keeping of the rings.

After the ceremony the new Mr and Mrs headed out of the ceremony played out by "At Last" by Southdene the String Duo.

We headed outside for drinks and group photographs. Starting with family photographs including the children who were getting resteless and wanted to play on the muddy grass!

After the group photographs were done, most of the guests headed inside as it was starting to turn a little cool. The tailend of Storm Brian was around and it was a little breezy, but meant that we were able to start Bride and Groom Photographs of the happy couple.

After the photographs we headed inside where the room was set up with music highlights and autumn feels with twigs and little pumpkins and a few scattered acorns too!

Speeches were before dinner, with speeches from Father of the Bride, Goom and finishing with The Best Woman.

After dinner, lots of people chilling around and catching up before the evening reception started and lots of partying and Karoke was had!

Thank you for letting me share your Day with you!

[Wedding] Clare & Joe's Rustic Autumnal Wedding at Whitley Hall hotel

On Friday I had the pleasure of photographing Clare and Joe's big day at Whitley Hall Hotel.

I started with Clare in the Bridal Suite whilst make-up was underway and hair was being done in a bridesmaids room just down the hall.

The flowers arrived just as I was there, and had some absolutely beautiful autumnal colours within them.

When Joe and Oliver arrived at Whitley Hall I headed down to the room they were getting ready and took some photographs of Joe and is Best Man getting ready for the big day. It's not often I photograph Groom Prep (and it's very quick!)

After this, I headed back to the girls where the final preparations were underway and the little flower girls had arrived including Clare & Joe's daughter Chloe.

The older bridesmaids wore a beautiful pale pink two-piece outfit consisting of a skirt and lace top whilst the small flower girls wore green dresses to tie all the colours in together.

Clare's bridesmaids headed down the aisle first before Clare and her dad walked down the aisle to met Joe at the bottom for their ceremony to take place.

The ceremony was beautiful with Oliver making a great best man and looking after the rings!

After the ceremony, we all headed outside for welcome drinks and group photographs.

The weather was on our side although we were aware that Storm Brian was on its way. But come rain or shine, it wouldn't change the love at this Wedding.

After the group shots were done, I focused on creating beautiful photographs of Clare and Joe together, the new Mr and Mrs Wake!

I'm sure you'll admit they make such a gorgeous couple!

I headed inside to take photographs of the details before everyone entered the room.

Speeches were held before the meal, with the Father of the Bride, Groom and Brides Sister and Best Man giving a joint speech too.

Everyone then partied the night away!

Thank you for allowing me to share your special day!

[Wedding] Mel & Richard, a perfect WedFest

On Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing the Wedding of Mel and Richard.

I was so excited when Mel enquired about me photographing her Wedding it sounded fabulous. A farm, a tipi from Totally Tipi and a handfasting ritual to boot! Then throw in live music what more could you want!?

I started with Mel and her bridesmaids at Smallshaw Farm Cottages & Spa where hair and makeup and girly chatter were underway. The boys were still finishing setting the teepee up and making sure that everything was perfect.

The beautiful humanist ceremony was conducted outside and we had the weather totally on our side. Rings were exchanged and a handfasting ritual too - my first ever and it was totally beautiful!

Mel and Richard had decided to have an unplugged ceremony which meant no cameras other than mine during the ceremony. It meant that whenever they turned to their guests they got to see their faces rather than the back of their phones. It also meant that their hands were free to throw confetti when they walked back up their aisle as Mr & Mrs!

After the ceremony and with a dark cloud looming, we headed out of the tipi for some shots of them with their little girl Winter, as well as with parents before everyone took their seats inside the tipi for their BBQ dinner!

When the rain started it didn't dampen anyone's spirits inside. After dinner speeches were had, given by Mel's Dad, Richard, Mel, Maid Man and the Best Man! Lots of laughs, toasts and even a sing-song by our very own Groom and Best Man!

When the rain stopped we scooted off back outside for some more photographs of the new Mr and Mrs and the groomsmen before heading back inside for the first band and first dance.

The first dance and band playing meant that everyone started the epic party that went on long after I had left. With face painting arriving around the same time as the evening guests! Who doesn't want face painting and glitter at a festival wedding!

I ended the evening after the first spot of the second band, just after we had done sparkler photographs but I know the party continued long after I had left!

Thank you both for allowing me to share your special day!
