On Thursday I had the pleasure of photographing Sarah & Adam's Wedding at Waterton Park Hotel. I first met Sarah & Adam at one of the Wedding Fayres at Waterton Park so was delighted when they went on to book me for their wedding.
After setting several alarms to make sure I didn't miss this mid-week Wedding (it happens for Sunday Weddings too!) I started with Sarah at Waterton Park Hotel where hair and makeup was underway, but also with her daughter, son, niece and nephew and later joined by her sister and new sister in law to be.
Hessian and Green were the themes of the day which is fabulous as this year Pantone colour is Greenery. So a beautiful on trend colour!
With Thursday being 4th May there was a few little nods to Star Wars too!
Adam was waiting in the Waterton Suite for his bride to be with his Best Man whilst the string duo played to the guests who were waiting.
The bridesmaids entered the room and walked down the aisle before Sarah was walked down the aisle by her dad. When Sarah and Adam booked they didn't know if Sarah's dad was going to make it to the Wedding, so the fact that he walked her down the aisle was tearjerking for everyone.
The sun was shining down on the day, whilst a little breezy we managed to head outside for group photographs. We even had a stormtrooper appear!
After group photographs, we did a few couple photographs before heading upstairs to see how the room was set out. With beautiful hessian and lace with the huge bubblegum balloons!
After dinner, there were speeches delivered by Adam and his Best Man before heading onto the night reception and partying the night away.
Thank you, Adam and Sarah, for letting me share your special day with you!
