[Wedding] A Beautiful Sunny April Day for Anton & Lesley's Wedding at Whitley Hall Sheffield

Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful wedding on a lovely sunny spring day at Whitley Hall Hotel. I started with the bride Lesley, her mum and bridesmaids as the bridal preparations were under way.

The flowers were done by Campbell's Flowers, and photograph includes the brides grandma's rings - and one from her sister - something old, something borrowed - and something blue.

Lesley and her maids headed up to the bridal suite to finish getting Lesley dressed so she could make her entrance down the beautiful staircase.

The ceremony, had a lovely reading and many tears were shed by most of the guests - what Wedding wouldn't be a Wedding without some tears!

The weather was beautiful yesterday, which meant we were able to make the most of the lovely grounds for photographs, and the drinks reception was held outside - couldn't have ordered better weather!

After the formal photographs were taken, then began the portraits of the bride and groom - so very much in love - and what a gorgeous couple they make!

The room inside was decorated between the florist and Glamourpuss weddings, and then the 3 tier cake had a mixture of Vanilla, Chocolate and Coffee cake - a taste for everyone!

After the meal came the speeches, by the father of the bride, the groom, and of course the Best Man's speech - and you can see just how long that was!

As the evening guests started arriving we headed back outside for Lesley to throw her bouquet, and congratulations to bridesmaid Jo who caught it!

The new Mr & Mrs surprised everyone with a beautifully choreographed first dance to "A Thousand Years" which again had everyone in tears - good job there were plenty of tissues on hand! No-one knew that they were doing this special first dance, apart from myself, who'd been let into the secret a couple of days ago so I knew what to expect!

When it dropped a little darker, we headed back outside for some "night-time" portraits of the bride and groom, outside the wooden entrance to Whitley Hall - and a Massive Thanks to one of the guests at the hotel who let us borrow his car for a shot or two!

I want to share my congratulations with the couple - and thank you for choosing Blue Lights Photography to photograph your special day - it was an absolute pleasure to attend your beautiful Wedding.
