Whilst everyone was tucking into chocolate for breakfast on Easter Sunday, I however was on my way to Doncaster to start photographing the bridal preperations for Jade & Louis' Wedding day.
The preperations took place at Louis mum's house, whilst Louis and the groomsmen were getting ready at Ringwood Hall. With hair and make up underway when I arrived, it was a normal state of affairs like any kind of Wedding morning - however, everything was running smoothly, and on time (until the last hour)
Jamie & Leyton - the bride and groom's two boys, were absolutely as good as gold on the Wedding morning, in fact the entire day - so well behaved, and hardly heard a peep out of them on the morning.
Jade wore this beautiful strapped dress with a scoop neckline and lower zip and button back - and teamed with a crystal dotted cathedral length veil and side headband.
We all set off on the 40 minute drive to Ringwood Hall, where Jade was helped out of the car by her brother, who was also giving her away.
I arrived at the Ceremony Room to find a nervous looking Louis, sat with his Best Man, Dad and Brother. Before the page boys carrying the rings, walked down the aisle, followed by the bridesmaids and then Jade with her brother. The ceremony was due to be held outside, but due to a sprinkling of rain, it was decided it was best to hold it inside instead.
The ceremony was a lovely civil ceremony, including a reading by the Groom's brother.
After the ceremony, we headed to the Rose Gardens for mingling and drinks as well as Group Photographs before we started on Bride and Groom Portraits.
You have to admit that Jade & Louis look absolutely in love and besotted with each other - I guess thats what 10 years and 2 boys do to you!
The wind and light just worked absolutely perfectly for myself and the cinematographer also covering their day.
Everyone made their way inside for the Wedding Breakfast, which consisted of both a Ladies & Gents seperate Menu, I was very excited, as this is the first time that I have ever experienced this at a wedding, and this was Wedding 119 that I've photographed!
Then came the speeches! Speeches were given by Ben, the Brides Brother - Louis, and then the Best Man. And after we thought the speeches were finished both Jamie & Leyton stood up to say a few words, which was just so cute!
After Dinner we headed back outside to do some more Bride and Groom Portraits in the evening light. As they couldn't get married outside, we decided to use the pavillion where they should have got married - for some extra photographs too - the sunlight was just beautiful by this time.
Congratulations Mr and Mrs Brown - and Thank You for allowing Blue Lights Photography to share your special day! x
