[Wedding] All Smiles for two people who say I Do, Mr & Mrs Gibson, Wortley Hall, Sheffield

With October coming to an end, and another lovely lovely Wedding – it never fails to make me realise how much I love my job!

I headed to Louise’s Mums house where she was getting ready with the bridesmaids before Dad and a couple of the ushers started to get ready once the littlest bridesmaids arrived.

Brett had totally surprised Louise with a diamond bracelet too!

It was a quick walk down the street (for me) to the Church, which was the second time this year I had visited this lovely Church.

The vows, were lovely and traditional, and then when the final blessing happened – Louise’s parents also joined them as it was their anniversary – and they had got married in the same church. Such a lovely touching part.

After a few images at the Church, we then headed off to Wortley Hall for group photographs and couple photographs before the Wedding Breakfast.

After the Wedding Breakfast we headed out for a few more photograph of the Wedding Party, and of course the new Mr and Mrs Gibson – before everyone headed inside to start partying!

I hope you have a wonderful first Christmas as Mr and Mrs!

[Wedding] A Splash of Colour in a Vintage idea, John and Jody, Cannon Hall & 315 Lepton

Another October Wedding and another beautiful day the weather had in store for us. I started with John, the groom, for photographs before Jody arrived – at Cannon Hall.

It has been so so long since I had done a Wedding there, that even they have changed the room where the ceremony was held!

The boys looked so smart in their Blue suits with Yellow – and Jody with her vintage pinks bouquet. There wasn’t a particular theme to the day, just a little bit vintage, a little bit DIY, a little bit of them all rolled into one – just how it should be.

The Civil Ceremony was lovely – and how gorgeous is Jody’s dress!

After the ceremony, group shots took place before we made the most of the beautiful places that are dotted around Cannon Hall for shots of the Bride and Groom.

The avenue of trees at Cannon Hall is one of my favourite places to photograph. And with the light shining through the trees with the leaves on the floor and them turning different colours – just beautiful!

After this, we headed to Restaurant 315 at Lepton –where the rest of the guests now were – for the Wedding Breakfast and Evening reception.

The Burlap, and flowers with the DIY signs and table plan were just lovely and quirky. I personally like when there is low table centre pieces as it doesn’t break up the tables – and people can chat properly.

The speeches ensured, with lots of funny stories, laughs and embarrassing moments, but I won’t share the most random ones here!

After the meal it was so chilled out as the room didn’t need to really be turned around for the evening reception – so people sat, and talked, and chilled out before the party started. It was such a lovely chilled out and relaxed day.

Congratulations Mr and Mrs Dalton, thank you for letting me be a part of your day.

[Wedding] An October Love Story, Mr & Mrs Garforth, The Woodman Inn, Huddersfield

I was excited for the Wedding of Mr and Mrs Garforth, as I have known Leanne since secondary school. So it was lovely when she asked if I was available to photograph her Wedding.

The venue they had chosen was The Woodman Inn in Kirkburton, a little place I had never been to before. On the morning I started with Leanne and her bridesmaids – Anna and Adele – and it was a lovely bridal suite, where I was able to take advantage of things for prep and detail shots.

The Ceremony room, was a little walk away upstairs which was then turned into the Wedding Breakfast room, and then into the Evening Reception room.

Leanne was given away by her Grandad, and you could totally see how proud he was to be walking her down the aisle and giving her away.

Mr and Mrs Garforth didn’t want too many group photographs so we headed over towards the small garden area across the road for the group photographs, before going for a little walk with just them both down the quiet little roads – which had some stunning backdrops.

Although, it has to be said, the roads weren’t that quite. Leanne and Patrick found it funny, that on the both times I had been to the venue the roads had been busier than any other time that they’d been. Whilst getting some of the photographs I was laid in the middle of the road, with them stood on the road – and we almost got run over – by the chef!

I think its clearly safe to say you can see how much these two are in love. And the weather couldn’t have been anymore perfect for us.

Thank you for allowing me to share your special day!
